The Club is open 12 noon to midnight most days with late openings depending on the programme of events. Regular events for Members include the Sunday afternoon meat raffle, monthly Film Club, music nights and there are activities scheduled over all Bank Holiday weekends.
Bar prices are very reasonable and highly competitive for Whitstable.
There are regular Darts and Pool teams who practice here and take part in local tournaments.
The Club has a space often referred to as the “Back Room” which is available for events and meetings. The Back Room can be booked for private birthdays, weddings, funeral wakes and fundraising events. We work in partnership with several local community groups and charities to support their activities and hold fundraising benefits. Some of these include:- Stop the Cuts, Calais Solidarity Campaign and Whitstable Lions.
Guests and Visitors are welcome but must be signed in by their hosts or the bar staff.
Club Rules set out our standards of behaviour expected of all users and abuse of members and the rules can lead to a ban or suspension. Racist, sexist, homophobic, abusive or violent behaviour will not be tolerated in the Club.
Work is in hand to make suitable adaptations to the premises to make facilities accessible to people with disabilities and users are asked to contribute to a Building Improvement Fund for this purpose.
The Whitstable Branch of the Labour Party meets on the first Monday of each month at 7.30pm.
